Rothley's 1st XI repeated their 2023 hammering of Langton's in another one sided Premier League T20 Final on a gloriously sunny 18th July Thursday evening.

Setting Langton's a not unreasonable target of 164, achieved primarily from an outstanding and chanceless 106 from Sunny Patel, Rothley's bowlers once again throttled the Langton's batting, bowling them out for just 55 in 12.1 overs, capped off by 4 wickets from Harry Funnel, all clean bowled including a hat-trick. Brilliant stuff.

The CC has subsequently represented Leicestershire in the ECB National KO quarter finals at Bury St Edmunds but disappointingly crashed out to Harpenden CC at the first hurdle.
